MIAMI - THE AMERICAN RIVIERA
Clear crystal blue waters mixed with a sprinkle of salsa. Miami’s style is unique all recognized all over the world. Miami is LA without the traffic, NYC without the taxis, and Paris without the Champs De Elysees. Over the years Miami has become a very sophisticated high profile city.
Miami is the primary residence for a lot of glamorous celebrities, musicians, artists, sports figures and teams, politicians and thespians. Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Andy Garcia, Enrique Iglesias, Julio Iglesias, Don Shula and Dan Marino have been long time residents of Miami. However in the 90’s two high profile celebrities introduced to the rest of Hollywood that Miami was a great place to live - Madonna and Sylvester Stallone. Fashion icon Gianni Versace moved into a home right in the heart of South Beach and would walk every morning to get his Italian newspapers at the News cafe two block from home. After Madonna, Stallone and Versace the avalanche of celebrities moving to Miami grew. They live in mansions, downtown condos, private islands, public neighborhoods or the heart of South Beach. Sometimes they invest in local businesses or create their own (the Kardasian sisters - DASH). Some of these celebrities are Shaquill O'Neal, Rosie O'Donnell, Anna Kournikova, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin, Danny Devito, Jenifer Lopez and Mark Anthony, David Caruso, Billy Joel, John Secada, Albita, Sammy Sousa, Lawrence Taylor, Sean P Diddy Combs, Celione Dion, Beyonce and Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson.
The weather in Miami during the winter is mild and dry, with balmy breezes and the most beautiful beaches. It is the optimal time to visit. Miami is a culturally rich, diverse city and is truly the tropical jewel of the United States.
